Washington
Washington, DC is my favorite American city… and shall I say, my favorite city in the world. I absolutely love how much green spaces there is and those monuments made of white marble are just spectacular.

The Capitol dome and a scaffolding as some work was being done to repair cracks in the dome.
There is quite a few steps up before we can get to the famous statue of Abraham Lincoln.
Washington is a busy city since its is the capital, but it still feel very relaxing in some places.
The reflecting pool is an appropriate name for this pool of water, between the Lincoln Memorial and the WWII Memorial.

Quite a recent and very sober memorial in Washington, DC.
Another part of the Martin Luther King Memorial, with some of his quotes inscribed in a long wall.
Watching sunset from the basin in front of the Capitol is a beautiful moment as the building lights up.
