France
I started photography in my home country. Most of those photos were taken in the beautiful region where I grew up (Alsace).
The light at sunset was simply perfection, like a big painting in the sky. This tree and I simply stood there admiring the work of nature.
Sometimes it’s worth enjoying a summer sunset, while waiting for the Milky Way.
A perfect example of many different layers in the landscape; each of them having its own light.
Another evening where I was waiting for the night and the stars. The light brushing over the pasture was absolutely beautiful.
The sun appeared below the clouds again as it was setting and shed its light on this blanket of fog. Loved it!
I just love the simplicity of this scene and the light of the sky after sunset. It’s always fun to play with silhouettes.
Another point of view, taken earlier during sunset. Those were not still, but definitely moving together, almost synchronized.
A sunset in the middle of the French countryside. The sheep were not very cooperative, rushing away when I would try to approach them.
Despite the grey and rather monotonous atmosphere, I really like this image. It may sums up a lot of people’s mood in the winter: dull. But it’s my favorite season.
The special mood of winter, with the fog, snow and a (hopefully) warm cabin. There’s no better season in the year.
Standing as one big block. Unfortunately, this is not enough to withstand the test of time.
Winter is an amazing season to get this beautiful light, peaking through the trees and hitting the snow and red rock.
Autumn is another favorite season of mine. The colors of the trees are gorgeous and this road is inviting!
This sums up what I love about Alsace: the mix between fields and mountains, beautiful villages and roads.
