When Lake Pukaki looks more like a sea than a lake, because of the strong wind that created beautiful waves.

A beautiful evening light shining on those rock formations, which were only visible because the level of the lake was so low.

A gorgeous and peaceful sunrise at Hooker Lake after having spent the entire night out shooting the Milky Way. I really love the ice on the lake: winter is the best season!

This lake is incredibly famous to capture a perfect reflection. Whether it is the pink glowing light of sunset on those peaks or the blue hour, it doesn’t disappoint… when we get good weather.

A very famous lighthouse in the south of New Zealand. The conditions did not disappoint, both for sunset and sunrise, as well as at night for the Milky Way.

These pine trees just look like a line of spectators. What is there not to admire: fresh snow on mountains, one of my favorite elements in a landscape.

Sometimes you don’t expect conditions to be that good. The reflection was almost perfect as I managed to get back to this location in time, once I had grabbed my camera gear at home.

The light on the top of the mountain and on those trees was gorgeous. This scene reminded me of Scotland a lot, another country I totally love.

A panorama taken on the Hooker Valley track, in Mount Cook National Park. The light that evening was absolutely epic, with an amazing red hue. The glaciers were brown, because of the wildfires in Australia.

What caught my eyes in the grand landscape in front of me was those two trees, standing all alone but very close to each other.

The road to Milford Sound is absolutely stunning, no matter what the weather is like. I actually really like the moody wet weather compared to a blue sky in a location such as this.

Twizel was buried in the fog for a week, but how can I complain when we get conditions such as these? Beautiful frost on colorful trees in the middle of winter.
